Draft quote lines with AI

When an enquiry arrives by email or text, paste it into the quote builder and AI proposes the lines. They’re matched to your catalogue items and bundles, with your prices. You tick the ones you want, and nothing changes until you add them.

  1. Open the quote builder — Start a new quote, or open a draft.

  2. Press Draft lines with AI — It’s beside Add item. A side panel opens.

  3. Paste the enquiry — In Enquiry, paste the customer’s message or describe the work, and press Draft lines. While it works, it shows “Drafting…”.

  4. Check the proposed lines — Each has its name, quantity and the matched catalogue item or bundle with its price, marked Suggested by AI. A line with no catalogue match reads “Add a price”.

  5. Add them — Tick the lines you want and press Add to quote (3). They’re added after your last line, each marked Suggested by AI. A bundle arrives as its lines.

  6. Save the quote — The quote isn’t saved until you save it.

  • AI never sets a price. Prices come from your catalogue. Work that isn’t in your catalogue, or an item priced in another currency, arrives without a price for you to fill in.
  • Tax is worked out as usual, as if you had picked the items by hand.
  • Draft again to try with more detail. If AI finds nothing, it says so and asks for more detail.
  • Close the panel without adding and the quote is unchanged. The panel keeps the enquiry and proposal while the quote is open.
  • It’s recorded. The saved quote’s Activity says it was filled in with AI.

See Quotes to finish and send the quote.
