Take site photos for a job
Site photos record progress and back up your work. Photos you take in the field app are saved on the phone straight away, tagged to the job, and upload in the background. With no signal, they wait and send when you’re back online. They then appear on the job’s Photos tab on the web.
- Open the camera — On a job, press Add photos (the camera button at the top on iPhone, the round button on Android). Or press Add photo on Today.
- Allow the camera (first time only) — The app explains “Allow camera access” and why. Press Continue, then allow it when your phone asks. Not now takes you back.
- Check the job — The job shows at the top of the camera. Tap it to choose a different job.
- Take the photos — Press the shutter for each photo. Use the flash button if you need it. The bottom shows “n taken · saved on this phone”.
- Review them — Press Done. Add a Caption to each photo (“What does this photo show?”), check the Job, and choose a Milestone (optional). Retake drops the photo shown and goes back to the camera; Take more photos adds more.
- Save — Press Save n photos.
“Photos upload in the background. You can keep working — check progress from the sync pill on Today.” Until they’ve sent, the job shows them with a Waiting badge.
