Read your key figures

The row of key figures tells you how the business stands in four numbers. Each card shows the figure, a line of the last 8 weeks and how it compares with last month, so a number never sits on its own. The row stays pinned in place: you can’t move or hide it.

  1. Read the four cards — Cash position, Profit this month, Receivables and Overdue.
  2. Read the comparison — Under each figure, a line of the last 8 weeks and a change such as “▲ +8.2% vs last month”. If last month had no figure, it reads “No data last month”.
  3. Read the extra lines — Receivables adds “Current amount · overdue amount”. Overdue says how many invoices are overdue.
  4. Click a card — Open the report behind it: Cash position opens the Balance Sheet, Profit this month opens Profit & Loss, Receivables opens Receivables, and Overdue opens Receivables filtered to overdue.

A change is green when it’s good for the business (cash and profit up, receivables and overdue down) and red when it isn’t. The arrow and the sign are always there too, so you never need the colour to read it.

Each card has its own icon and a light tint: a wallet for cash, a trend line for profit, coins for receivables, and an alert for overdue. A very large amount steps down in size so the whole figure fits on one line.

Profit this month follows the Accrual / Cash switch in the dashboard’s header. On the cash basis, the card says “cash basis” under the figure. See Switch between accrual and cash.
