Set meeting reminders
Spine reminds you shortly before a meeting starts, so you’re never caught out. The business has a default reminder time, and each person can choose their own.
Who gets a reminder
Section titled “Who gets a reminder”You get one “starting soon” reminder, by every channel you have turned on, when:
- you organise the meeting, or
- you’re invited and answered Accepted or Tentative.
If you declined, you get no reminder. A recurring meeting reminds you once for each occurrence, and not for a cancelled one. If a meeting’s time changes after you were reminded, you’re reminded again before the new time.
Choose your own reminder time
Section titled “Choose your own reminder time”- Open your notifications — Open Settings and choose Notifications under Your account.
- Pick a time — Under Meeting reminders, choose 5 min, 15 min, 30 min or 60 min, or the business default (shown as “Business default · 15 min”).
- Check it — Spine says, for example, “You’ll be reminded 30 minutes before.” and “Meeting reminders saved.”
Set the business default
Section titled “Set the business default”- Open the setting — Open Settings and choose Meeting reminders under Sales & meetings.
- Pick a time — Choose 5 minutes before, 15 minutes before, 30 minutes before or 60 minutes before. It starts at 15 minutes.
- Save — Press Save. Everyone who hasn’t chosen their own time uses it.

Choose which meetings the dashboard shows
Section titled “Choose which meetings the dashboard shows”The dashboard’s upcoming meetings can show each person’s own meetings, or every meeting in the business.
- Open the setting — Open Settings and choose Upcoming meetings under Sales & meetings.
- Choose — Choose Only my meetings (“Each person’s dashboard shows only the meetings they organize.”) or Every org meeting, which suits a small team that plans as one calendar.
- Save — Press Save. Every Staff dashboard follows your choice.
Field users always see only their own meetings, whatever you choose. See Dashboard.
