Change your settings and sign out

Profile holds your account details, the app’s appearance, your sync status and Sign out. Signing out is safe: if anything hasn’t reached your office yet, the app warns you before it’s deleted.

Who can do this

Anyone signed in to the field app.

Open Profile

Tap your picture or initials at the top right of any tab. On iPhone, Profile opens as a sheet; on Android, as a page. It shows:

• Your name and your role and business, such as “Field · Riverstone Builders”.
• Email and Server.
• Your sync status (All synced or “n waiting to sync”) and when items were last sent. Tap it to open Sync.
• Appearance: System, Light or Dark. System follows your phone. Your choice is kept on this phone.
• For Field members: “Field accounts don’t show invoices, payments or reports. Ask your office if you need something changed on your account.”
• The app’s version, such as “Spine 1.0.0-beta.1 (12) · Beta”.

Sign out

1. Press Sign out — At the bottom of Profile, press Sign out.
2. Read the warning, if there is one — If items are still waiting, you see “n items haven’t reached your office yet. Sign out anyway?” and what they are, for example “2 site photos and 1 expense are still waiting to sync. Signing out deletes them from this phone.”
3. Choose what to do — Press Send them first (on Android, Send first) to open Sync, Sign out anyway (on Android, Sign out) to sign out and delete them, or Cancel.

With nothing waiting, you’re signed out straight away and go back to Sign in.

Danger

Sign out anyway deletes waiting photos, expenses and milestone updates from the phone. They never reach your office and can’t be recovered.

Tip

To change your name, email or role, ask your office. If an Owner deactivates your account, the app signs you out with “Your access to business was removed.”
