Read recent activity

Recent activity is a running feed of what’s happened across the business: quotes accepted, payments recorded, expenses submitted, jobs and milestones moving. Each entry names the person who did it, so you can scan the last day’s work in seconds without opening each module.

  1. Read the feed — Newest first. Each entry starts with the person’s avatar and name in bold, for example “Alex Morgan recorded a payment of $5,000.00 from Maple Ridge Developments”. For something a customer did, such as accepting a quote, it starts with the customer’s name.
  2. Check the time — Relative times such as “Just now” or “31m ago”.
  3. Open the record — Click an entry to open its document.
  4. See more — Press View all. Owners go to the audit log; everyone else sees the full feed.

When the same customer views the same quote several times within 24 hours, the feed shows one row ending “· n times” with the latest time, rather than a row for every view.

Amounts are in bold and use your business’s currency format.

On a Field user’s dashboard the card is Recent activity on my jobs. It lists only non-financial events on jobs they’re assigned to: no payments, invoices or quote values. This filtering happens on the server, so the events never reach their browser.

If nothing has happened yet, the card reads “Nothing yet.”
